February 27, 2006 Podengo Litter Makes History - First puppies born to an American-born dam here at Porto Novo.
These wire-hair Portuguese Podengo Pequeno puppies were born February 27, 2006 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut at the Porto Novo Kennel. This is Porto Novo's fourth, or "D" litter, so the names of the three puppies, all girls, are Didi, Darlene and Donzela de Porto Novo.
