"E" Litter Arrives - November 3, 2007

Elisabete and Eulalia do Porto Novo arrived November 3, 2007 to parents Sericaia do Vale Negro (Caia) and Bachalhau de Viamonte (Bucky). They are our fifth, or "E" litter, and so their Portuguese names start with the letter "e". Eulalia is the more vocal of the two, and her name derives from the Greek, meaning to talk well. Elisabete is named for my daughter and other queenly characters. As time goes on, we begin calling Elisabete "Bela" which means beautiful and Eulalia is called "Lali", the name's diminutive form. Both puppies have white tips to their tails, for good luck!
