Born September 19, 2006 in Leiria, Portugal, Bacalhau came home with us in January 2007 and he was immediately renamed "Bucky". Right from the beginning, he captured everyone's hearts with his confidant walk and his funny jumps and wiggles.
He is a wonderful dog with a great personality, and is becoming very well known about town as he is very portable, calm in the car and polite in new places. In 2009, Bucky earned his Delta Therapy dog certification and brightens faces at Yale's Smilow Cancer Hospital.Bucky sure is a good all-around boy!
Bucky fits right into our Podengo-filled home and makes us smile all the time!
Sericaia, Donzela, Izzy and Ruby and the Porto Novo pack are very happy to have Bucky here -- and to have Saloio (Dooze) and Manny and many other Podengos visit frequently. The fun goes on!
